Zebra prints have recently become quite the trend. Zebra print designs and fabrics can be found on everything from bedrooms to clothing. Let’s look at another way to add zebra prints to your arsenal. Coffee coasters are a great way to add pictures or designs with out over doing it. Not only are they going to protect your table, they just may be the next conversation piece. 

Things you will need: 

-       Fabric glue 

-       Black Felt 

-       Zebra Print Fabric 

-       Fabric pen or marker

-      Scissors 

1.    Go to your craft supply or fabric store and look for black felt and zebra print fabric. Using felt will provide the protection you need for your table. Otherwise, you will have to worry about sewing padding.  

2.    Find a container, or extra large mug that you never use, to trace a pattern over the black felt. And then do the same for the zebra print fabric. For each coaster you’re going to need 1 piece of felt and 1 piece of fabric. 

3.    Now cut the circular pieces out and glue them together with fabric glue. Don’t be sloppy and make sure that the pieces line up properly. Try to keep the glue evenly over the fabric. When it dries you don’t want to have a rocky surface for your cups to sit on. 

If you have children, this is the perfect activity to get them involved. You can also buy a tube of silver glitter silicone to go around the edges to give it that extra pizzazz.
